Ruby Ahluwalia, an IRAS officer of the 1986 batch, currently heads the Finance & Accounts function of South Western Railway as Principal Financial Advisor.
Ruby, a Management Graduate and scholar of the Giri Institute of Developmental studies, has done extensive work in the realm of Public – Private partnership.
A passionate painter, she uses colors on canvas to bring out deep emotional churning in her quest for spiritual evolvement.
A cancer victor herself, she is the force behind ‘Sanjeevani … Life Beyond Cancer’ – a not for profit organization which works towards rehabilitation of people afflicted by cancer and train them to provide care and counseling to other patients and their families. Sanjeevani, today, runs counseling centres in 11 cities manned by rehabilitated cancer survivors and has enriched lives of over 1,50,000 cancer patients in its 6 years of existence.
