Meet Geeta Goel, Country Director Michael and Susan Dell Foundation. A mother of 2 boys and a classmate from school. In 2017 she was nominated as the top 30 most powerful women in the country and rightly so. She chairs the impact investment council in India and is heading the international foundations that has committed over 150 million dollars in India.
Geeta shares through her experience the making of a leader. Her top 3 pieces of advise especially to women who are aspiring to be in leadership roles is to be – bold, unapologetic and vocal about their priorities. Thereby helping build a support system that ensures a work life balance, something which is essential for all leaders. A holistic approach to life is an integral part of making a stable leader, creating a congenial and happy work environment. Which in turn affects the out put of the teams being led positively.
