Chandini – Resident of a remote village in Bareilly, Chandini used to perform ‘tamasha’ on the streets with her father . At age 6 her father died and the responsiblity of the family fell on her shoulders. She started picking rags and selling flowers on the streets. Chandini was determined to rise above her circumstances. As she grew older she started volunteering in an NGO and also pursued to educate her self. She is 21 now and the Co founder of voice of slum. An NGO dedicated to educating children from the slums and getting them into the main stream.
