Ashish Kashyap, x IBIBO group

Interview Final Part
Ashish Kashyap
I first interacted with Ashish through the launch of the BW Marketing white book. It was a fun evening and I realized that the young entrepreneur was a witty, intelligent go getter. We resonated both at a professional and individual level. It were the expansion days for Go Ibibo and Red bus had just been launched. The technologically challenged me was introduced to the concept of tinder by this group of technologically savvy young professionals through the evening. We laughed and made merry – those were the days, when I still nursed my glass of Red. It seems a long time ago now.
Subsequently I invited Ashish for the news broadcasting conference I curated and it reinforced my first impression of him.
He was also one of the few entrepreneurs I sought advice from before launching #LikeaBoss. Ashish has been very encouraging and eggs me on to be the ‘Game Changer’.
We canned this interview as the last one for season 1. It was a wonderful coincidence, as I remembered recording the first episode with Aditya Save on Ganpati puja (Lord Ganesh or the Elephant God is considered the Harbinger of Good luck and revered for auspicious beginnings in India) and the last one welcomed us with the Sanskrit text that adorned the doorway of Ashish Kashyap’s house.
वक्रतुण्ड महाकाय सूर्यकोटि समप्रभ ।निर्विघ्नं कुरु मे देव सर्वकार्येषु सर्वदा ॥
One Who has a Curved Trunk, Large Body, and Who has the Brilliance of a Million Suns, I pray to you O Lord, to make my Work Free of Obstacles, Always.
But then again, I also know there are no coincidences in life. Just subtle energies charting our path as we align to the laws of the universe.
